This has to be one of the most fun tours I have been involved with. Firstly, it's TISM so it's already awesome, but with them coming back after 19 years, the crowd was lined up around many blocks and ready to sing every word. The (not so)secret warm-up shows and Good Things tour were all a success, especially coming on after french metal masters Gojira, a giant task. A fan made video from 170 Russel Street was also a mammoth effort, having been put together from phone videos in the audience. This gig was particularly fun for me, as I was returning to Billboard, (Billboards — if you are Greek) where I worked as a technician in my teens, a job given to me by the owner and nightclub legend, Athos Mandylaris, who was also my godfather. My role was preparing and deploying the backing tracks, also a task as they mostly came from old ADAT tapes. They were not in sync with anything and needed to be aligned to clicks and embellished with some new sounds and programming by DC.
